With many families with young children experiencing difficult economic times, the Knights of Columbus instituted the ‘Coats for Kids’ program in 2009. This is an opportunity for councils to become involved in their communities by providing warm winter coats to the children in need there.
In the British Columbia & Yukon state jurisdiction, this program was first rolled out in 2012. A significant expansion of the coat distribution program is expected in 2013.
